Rod holds a BA in History/Behavioral Sciences and a BS in Criminal Justice and Criminology, and has spent 34 years in education — the majority as a secondary Social Studies teacher. What keeps him energized is the students and the team around him: people committed to helping each learner grow, develop, and reach their full potential. Outside of school, Rod loves time with family, his dogs, and the Colorado mountains.
