10.19 - 10.23 | Scholastic Book Fair

Each class will visit the fair twice: once to browse and build a wish list, and once to shop. Look for a flyer coming home soon with details on setting up an eWallet for your student.

Families are welcome to shop in person, too.

The fair will be open:

Daily after school, 3:00–4:15 pm
Friday, October 23rd, following Nosh and Knowledge

While you’re there, check out the wish list board featuring requests from classrooms, teachers, therapists, and the library. It’s an easy way to give a gift that stays at Havern.

Every purchase makes a difference.
Book fair proceeds fund our library automation software and put new books in the library, in classrooms, and in students’ hands. Come shop, support our library, and help grow your student’s love of reading!

10.23 from 8 - 9AM | Nosh & Knowledge
Nosh and Knowledge is a wonderful opportunity to see your child and their teacher interact in the classroom. Students can invite one special guest (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc.) to join us at school. We will start the morning with a light breakfast before heading to classrooms for a fun, student-led reading activity. After a great time together, families will wrap up and depart through the front entrance.

10.24 | HEART Playdate

10.30 from 2 - 3pm | Trunk-or-Treat
Students will celebrate the season with a fun Trunk-or-Treat event on Friday, 10.30 from 2 - 3pm. Families are invited to join us and can sign up to host a trunk-or-treat station or just come to watch!

Parking is limited—only those who sign up in advance will be guaranteed a spot.

If you are signed up:

• Please arrive and park by 1:30pm; trunks ready by 1:50pm

• Plan for 120 students

• Bring pre-packaged, dye- and nut-free treats or small toys

• Keep decorations and costumes friendly, not scary

• No dogs, please
