Mel holds a BS in Psychology from Colorado State University and an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Denver. She spent 30 years working as both a teacher and school psychologist in public and private schools across the Denver area before joining Havern. She describes it simply: Havern is the best school — a place where staff genuinely support and value one another. Outside of school, Mel rides horses with the Evergreen Rodeo Drill Team, hikes, gardens, and spends time with family and friends.
