John holds a BA in Language Studies from UC Santa Cruz and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with an ASD emphasis from Arizona State University. He is in his 13th year as a Special Education teacher, with experience across both public schools and independent settings. At Havern, what John values most is simple: the relationships — with students and colleagues alike. Outside of school, he's a dedicated dad, a soccer coach, and a fan of reading, video games, and sports.
