Dear Havern & HAP Families,

Cooler weather is just around the corner, so please remember to send your student to school with a hoodie or jacket to keep them comfortable as temperatures begin to dip. With chilly mornings ahead, we want to make sure everyone stays warm during outdoor activities.

I’d also like to take a moment to thank everyone who attended our recent deep dive on curriculum. It was wonderful to share more about the learning journey your children are experiencing. If you weren't able to join us, you can view the presentation by clicking the link below.

There are many exciting events on the horizon! From our upcoming Stu-Co Spirit Days to a workshop with Craig Knippenberg, and of course, the much-anticipated Trunk-or-Treat. Be sure to scroll down for all the details—you won’t want to miss these special events!

NSCD ALPINE SKIING SIGN-UP

The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) provides specialized ski instructors and adaptive equipment to help students with a wide range of cognitive and/or physical disabilities enjoy an unforgettable experience on the mountain. This opportunity is available exclusively for Havern and HAP students.

Please note: Transportation is not provided.

Check-in for all sessions runs from 9:00 to 9:15 a.m., with lessons taking place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Students will have lunch with their parents.

Cost per session is $461.66, which includes lessons, instructor, equipment rentals, and lift tickets.

Join Havern and Bookies Bookstore for a panel discussion on dyslexia and meet the amazing author Tom Phillips and Taylor Tyng!

Tom, who was our visiting author last school year, has been a huge advocate for our students and school. They’d love to see some Havern students there!
